Mike Bertram from the church has provided a list of the men who were commemorated on the original memorial, both fallen and served. These names were written into the church memorial book before the original memorial was broken up. The new memorial takes the form of an inscribed stone plaque and contains the names of 7 men who died in the Great War and 1 man who died while serving in the Second World War. The letters are picked out in gold lettering and decorative swords are inscribed either side. The tablet is affixed to the wall of the memorial garden to the left of the main entrance to the church, accessible from Wesley Street and Station Road. The work was undertaken by McMurray Brothers Ltd., Preston. New Memorial
There are no spaces between lines on the plaque and the names are centred
